Together, this inspiring coalition of national and local nonprofits has served tens of thousands of people in hundreds of communities for dozens of years. Whether by resettling newcomers, providing basic needs, advocating for human rights, lifting up diaspora communities, or serving veterans, all of these groups are stepping up and leading the way forward with welcoming.

This is a moment in which committed philanthropic organizations are rightfully putting the vast majority of funding toward organizations who are on the front lines of welcoming across the United States. This group of funders chose to also support the launch of Welcome.US so that, together, we can amplify those efforts and mobilize the American people to support them.

Each of these businesses has already made a commitment to support the welcoming of newcomers into the United States, whether through financial or in-kind contributions. We are proud to unite them on this platform and, we hope, encourage other companies to follow their lead.

Through the Welcome Campus Network, Welcome.US amplifies the work of higher education institutions in welcoming and supporting newcomers seeking safety from across the globe, which includes providing scholarships, housing units, community sponsorship, and pathways to education to thousands of refugees and their families, as well as other acts of welcome.
