Across party, faith, geography, heritage, race, age, and beyond, Americans are finding common purpose in this trying moment.
More than 250 front-line and local organizations, leaders, and businesses have already joined the Welcome.US community in order to co-create what's next. And this is just the start. Write to firstname.lastname@example.org if you, too, want to get involved.
Together, this inspiring coalition of national and local non-profits has served tens of thousands of people in hundreds of communities for dozens of years. Whether by resettling newcomers, providing basic needs, advocating for human rights, lifting up diaspora communities, or serving veterans, all of these groups are stepping up and leading at this critical moment.
In addition to direct commitments to the front lines, these organizations are making significant financial contributions to Welcome.US that maximize the potential of the contributions of many other businesses and organizations. These visionary organizations are central strategic partners in our collective work to mobilize the American people and build a movement of welcome.
This is a moment in which committed philanthropic organizations are rightfully putting the vast majority of funding toward work happening on the front lines. This group of funders chose to also enable the launch of Welcome.Us so that, together, we can amplify those efforts and mobilize the American people to support them.
Each of these businesses and conveners has already made a commitment to support the welcoming of newcomers into the United States, whether through financial or in-kind contributions. We are proud to unite them on this platform and, we hope, encourage other companies to follow their lead.
