Welcome.US is a remote-first organization, with occasional in-person planning meetings as work requires. Employees in the D.C. area may have the opportunity for a hybrid-work environment in a shared office space if desired, but there is no in-person requirement outside of designated meetings and convenings.
Compensation and benefits for employees
We value our team and their health and well-being. To support that, we provide a comprehensive pay and benefits package. Benefits and salaries are subject to change and availability depends on employee status. Our package currently includes:
Salaries and retirement
- Salaries commensurate with experience and aligned with other organizations of our size
- Salary ranges are always included in our job postings
- 401(k) with an employer contribution of 6% of salary available (with no waiting period) for full and part time employees
Benefits for full-time employees
- omprehensive health benefits for the employee and dependents, subsidized 85-100% depending on plan choice. Currently health insurance is provided through Justworks and plans are provided through Aetna and Kaiser.
Benefits for full and part time employees
- Vision benefits through Metlife subsidized at 80%
- Dental benefits through Metlife subsidized at 80%
- Employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance
- Employer-paid life insurance ($10,000)
- Monthly remote work stipend ($75)
Paid time off for full time employees (pro-dated for part time)
- 13 paid holidays
- Winter closure Dec. 26-31
- Flexible paid time off accrued each pay period (First year of employment: 20 days, After first year: 30 days)
- 16 weeks of paid parental leave
- Up to 12 weeks of extended unpaid leave available in certain circumstances
