For Mahtab and her family, leaving their home in Afghanistan wasn't a choice but a matter of survival. In the face of unimaginable hardship and danger, Mahtab and her family bravely left everything behind to seek safety in a new country. Now, thanks to the support of organizations like the Spring Institute, Mahtab's family has started a new chapter and are building a life in Denver.
