For months, she met virtually with a volunteer named Susie. Susie lives in Massachusetts. Lolav lives in Tennessee. They had never met in person. Then, minutes before the oath ceremony, Susie showed up at the courthouse to surprise her and celebrate the years of hard work that led Lolav to this moment.
