How would you describe the refugee journey? In honor of World Refugee Day, learn about one newcomer’s refugee experience from displacement to resettlement and thriving. We hear from experts in refugee processing and resettlement to learn more about the nuts and bolts of this often multi-year journey, and we hear from a refugee and sponsor to share firsthand how their lives and community have been impacted by the transformative experience of welcoming. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a better understanding of what it means to be a refugee, the thorough refugee vetting process, and the components that make up a successful resettlement experience.
