Brian Widuch
Chief of Staff
Brian Widuch serves as Chief of Staff and Head of Operations at Welcome.US. Prior to joining Welcome.US, Mr. Widuch oversaw budgeting, policy, and program operations for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement and other social safety net programs as an examiner in the White House Office of Management and Budget, serving the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations from 2015-2025. In this role. he was a key player in developing the U.S. government’s domestic resettlement strategy for Afghans and Ukrainians as part of Operation Allies Welcome and Uniting for Ukraine.
From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Widuch also was detailed to the National Security Council as a Director for Strategic Planning, ensuring the administration’s resources were aligned with the National Security Strategy. He holds a BBA in International Business and a Master's in Public Policy from The George Washington University.
