Brought to you by Haitian Bridge Alliance and Welcome.US, this webinar details the humanitarian sponsorship programs recently announced by the U.S. Government: Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (P4CHNV) and how we can collectively respond in support of Haitians seeking safety in the United States.
Support Haitian Newcomers features helpful information about the program and how to apply to be a sponsor through P4CHNV, walks through the Welcome.US Welcome Connect platform, and offers tools and resources that can be used by sponsors to welcome newcomers. You will also hear personal stories from a current sponsor and Haitian newcomer, followed by a Q&A session with our panel.
Now more than ever, there is an urgent need for Americans to use the USCIS humanitarian parole programs so that Haitians are provided safe passage. Since April 2022, more than 250,000 Americans have signed up to sponsor eligible newcomers in need of refuge through this process – but there are thousands of Haitian families who are still in dire need of our help to find safety.
